The Association of Australasian Acoustical Consultants (AAAC) is a not for profit peak body which represents the interests of its members in Australia and New Zealand. Its objectives are to:
- input to standards and guidelines by having representatives on Standards Committees and opportunities to review state policies and guidelines
- develop our own guidelines, where they don’t exist or are not considered sufficient.
- provide educational material as part of an acoustics diploma run by UNSW
- encourage research and development programs across the industry
- encourage excellence in acoustics with industry awards
