Veue development tops out in Sydney’s Norwest

Veue development tops out in Norwest

Sekisui House Australia has marked a major construction milestone at Veue (Stage 4), the largest and most prominent residential stage within The Orchards masterplan, signalling continued progress on one of Sydney’s $1 billion masterplanned communities.

The topping out of Veue confirms the completion of the project’s structural framework, with the development now reaching its full height across six buildings.

Comprising 577 apartments, the stage introduces a significant architectural presence to Norwest, with towers ranging from nine to 22 storeys reshaping the evolving skyline.

Designed by Crone Architects and delivered by Westbourne Constructions (Westbourne), Veue has been conceived as a nature-inspired residential address that integrates architecture, interiors and landscape.

The design emphasises a lifestyle-oriented approach, blending urban living with access to green spaces.

Key architectural features include sculptural curved forms, extensive glazing and integrated planting, which together aim to maximise natural light, outlook and a sense of connection to the surrounding environment.

Landscaped communal areas further reinforce the development’s focus on community living and outdoor engagement.

Located within walking distance of Norwest Metro, retail amenities and the Norwest business precinct, Veue is positioned to offer residents both convenience and a sense of retreat.

The development forms a central component of The Orchards masterplan, which continues to evolve as a high-profile residential community in Sydney’s north-west.

George Gesouras, Project Director, Apartment & Mixed-Use Developments at Sekisui House Australia, highlighted the significance of the milestone for both the company and the broader development.

“This is an important achievement for Sekisui House Australia as Veue’s topping out represents the imminent completion of the structure for the largest stage within The Orchards masterplan,” said Gesouras.

“Reaching the highest point of this development allows residents, neighbours and the broader community to fully appreciate the scale, built form and presence of what has been envisioned.

“It represents another step in the continued evolution of The Orchards.”

The Orchards masterplan has been designed to deliver a cohesive residential community that balances density with open space, incorporating a mix of housing types, landscaped areas and connectivity to local infrastructure.

Veue’s scale and design make it a defining stage within this broader vision.

Construction will now progress to internal works, façade completion and landscaping, bringing the project closer to delivery.

Once complete, Veue is expected to contribute significantly to housing supply in the Norwest area while enhancing the precinct’s architectural character.

The topping out milestone underscores Sekisui House Australia’s ongoing investment in large-scale residential developments and reflects sustained demand for well-connected, masterplanned communities in Sydney’s growth corridors.
