Chasecrown breaks ground on $120m Parkline luxury apartments in Kent Town

National award-winning developer Chasecrown has commenced construction on its $120 million Parkline residential project in Kent Town, South Australia.

The 12-storey luxury apartment building, located on Dequetteville Terrace, has reached a significant milestone with the release of its final penthouse and sub-penthouse sky homes.

Chasecrown has partnered with global construction firm Multiplex to manage the project.

Andrew Warren, Multiplex SA State Manager, stated: “We are thrilled to be appointed by Chasecrown to deliver this exceptional project.

“Parkline Kent Town adds to our long-standing presence in South Australia, having delivered approximately $500 million worth of projects in the region over the past 30 years.”

The Parkline project, comprising 61 luxury apartments, has already achieved 80 per cent sales.

The remaining park frontage apartments are priced between $1.3 million and $5.1 million, offering uninterrupted views of the east parklands, city, or hills.

Louis Kanellos, Chasecrown’s Director and Project Architect highlighted the project’s unique location, combining urban living with city convenience.

“You can’t live any closer to the Adelaide CBD without living in the city itself. It offers the best of both worlds, combining urban living with city convenience,” he said.

The development boasts impressive environmental credentials, featuring an all-electric building capable of net-zero operation.

With a 7-star average apartment energy rating, the building’s power system can avoid fossil fuels for heating, cooling, hot water, and cooking appliances.

Additional eco-friendly features include a naturally ventilated car park with ‘green walls’, an extensive solar array, infrastructure for electric vehicle charging stations, and home automation options.

Chasecrown is also investing in the public realm around the Kent Town project, removing power lines to King William Street and enhancing street frontages and laneways with high-quality landscaping and green walls.

As the project moves forward, interested buyers can find more information and register their interest at the Parkline Kent Town website.
