Sydney-based boutique developer Made Property has begun demolition work on its latest luxury project, Corsa Mortlake, overlooking Majors Bay in Sydney Harbour.
The development, situated on one of the last remaining foreshore positions on Mortlake Point, is set to offer premium harbourside living with a private marina.
Designed by award-winning architects SJB, Corsa Mortlake will feature 20 three-bedroom apartments with expansive living spaces and uninterrupted panoramic water views.
The project includes a 23-berth marina accommodating yachts up to 20 metres in length, providing residents with the unique opportunity to moor their boats at their residential address.
Made Property Construction Director, Darren Power, expressed enthusiasm about the project’s commencement, stating: “As both a builder and developer, we are in the fortunate position of controlling the demolition and construction program for the entirety of the project.
“Our purchasers have greater reassurance that the project will be delivered on time as promised and on budget.”
The development’s prime northeast-facing position promises to capture some of Sydney’s most spectacular 180-degree harbour views, with each apartment featuring expansive balconies.
SJB has also designed the interiors, which will showcase exquisite finishes and premium fixtures that complement the project’s waterfront location.
Clayton Ross, Director of CBRE Residential Projects, reported strong demand for Corsa Mortlake, particularly from local owner-occupier downsizers seeking to invest in a waterfront property for a luxurious lifestyle change.
This aligns with the broader trend of sustained demand for high-quality, well-located residences in Sydney’s luxury property market.
Made Property plans to launch Corsa Mortlake to the market in September, with construction expected to be completed by late 2025.
The development is poised to become a significant addition to Sydney’s luxury real estate landscape, offering a rare combination of premium waterfront living and marina access in the city’s inner west.
