Perth commercial builder secures major warehouse project

AUSTRALIA — Alita Constructions, a commercial builder in Perth, has been awarded the contract to construct the Jandakot Business Park, a significant strata warehouse development.

This appointment follows the project’s recent development approval, marking a major milestone for the company.

The Jandakot Business Park, located at 100 Prinsep Road, is set to become a landmark development in Perth’s southern corridor.

Spearheaded by national property developer Capital Prudential, the project will feature 46 individual warehouse units, offering a range of sizes from 178 square metres to 539 square metres.

Key Features:

  • High truss warehouses
  • Parking bays
  • Three-phase power
  • Shower facilities
  • Full kitchenettes
  • Mezzanine levels
  • CCTV security
  • Dedicated container laydown area
  • Landscaped gardens

Construction is expected to commence in the coming weeks, with completion scheduled for September 2025.

The development is designed by Mulder Kampman Design, promising a modern and functional industrial space.

Jack Bennett, National Acquisition Manager at Capital Prudential, emphasised the project’s strategic location and its potential to drive growth in the area.

The development is expected to address the significant supply constraints in the market and contribute to the ongoing renewal of the Jandakot area.

Alita Constructions’ appointment to this high-profile project further solidifies its position as a key player in Perth’s commercial construction sector.

As the company prepares to break ground on the Jandakot Business Park, it continues to demonstrate its expertise in delivering large-scale industrial and commercial projects across the region.

Justin Mabarrack, Head of Industrial/Commercial at Effective Property Solutions (EPS), reported strong market interest in the development.

Over 200 enquiries have been received, with more than a quarter of the units already under offer or on hold, and five units sold.
