Three penthouses by Level 33 redefine coastal luxury in Wollongong

03 Sep, 2026
Level 33 launches three penthouses at Easterly

Property developer Level 33 has unveiled the Horizon Collection at Easterly Residences, a rare offering of only three whole-floor penthouses overlooking City Beach in the heart of Wollongong’s entertainment precinct.

Each residence has been designed as a whole-floor penthouse of extraordinary scale, featuring 218 square metres of living space, complemented by two secure car spaces per apartment.

Colliers Managing Director Simon Kersten said the Horizon Collection is one of the most exceptional apartments ever brought to market in Wollongong.

“The Horizon Collection sets a new benchmark for luxury, privacy, and architectural refinement in the region,” said Kersten.

Designed by architectural practice Turner Studio, Easterly Residences reflects a deeply considered response to its coastal and escarpment surroundings.

The design vision, pitched as Wollongong’s most exquisite address, celebrates the convergence of land and sea, integrating sculptural form with natural materiality and drawing inspiration from the coastal landscape and escarpment views.

Turner Studio Managing Director Karl May said honouring both the coastline and the nearby mountains had been central to the design process.

“Honouring both the coastline and the nearby mountains has been central to the design process, with the architectural vision celebrating the meeting of two distinct landscapes,” he said.

May explained that Easterly connects land to ocean through a curvaceous, ripple-like silhouette, with natural sandstone accents referencing the strength of the land, metallic copper detailing enriching the façade, and fluted concrete balustrades echoing the ridges of the local lighthouse.

He added that the design maximises residents’ experience of the water, with views from almost every vantage point enhanced by expansive balconies and full-height windows, and rounded balconies likened to stones washed smooth from the waves.

The interiors showcase a minimalist, timeless aesthetic epitomising coastal luxury, designed to evoke effortless sophistication and retreat-like serenity.

Each penthouse features premium appliances including a Gaggenau wall-mounted oven and cooktop and a Fisher & Paykel integrated fridge, alongside natural stone selections such as Taj Mahal stone and cream vein tile, and a fireplace for added comfort.

Each residence is a spacious three-bedroom plus study layout oriented to a north-east aspect, with views from every room and a his and hers vanity in the bathrooms.

Outdoor living is a key focus, with timber soffits to balconies, a built-in BBQ and a wine fridge supporting seamless indoor-outdoor entertaining.

Easterly Residences is a boutique development of only 21 residences, complemented by two ground floor retail spaces and a relaxed alfresco seating area that will contribute to a vibrant, connected community atmosphere.

One of the largest developers in the Illawarra, Level 33 has spent 25 years delivering projects across Greater Sydney and the region, guided by its philosophy and slogan, “Places Brought to Life”.

Level 33’s Founding Managing Director Eddy Haddad said Easterly represents a continuation of the company’s long-term vision for the city.

“Having developed in Wollongong and the Illawarra for almost two decades, Level 33 has played a significant role in the transformation of Wollongong from a quiet coastal seaside town into a vibrant, modern and sophisticated coastal destination,” he said.

Haddad added that through Easterly and the wider portfolio of lifestyle-oriented developments, Level 33 is continuing to help reshape Wollongong into a city defined by design, amenity and coastal sophistication, while delivering homes that meet the needs of today’s buyers and future generations.

Easterly Residences is currently under construction and is anticipated for completion in late 2026.
