Emerging Australian asset management and property development company People Purpose Time is set to enter the Sydney residential market after receiving development approval for its flagship project, The Prescott, at 24-28 Middle Harbour Road, Lindfield.
The approval follows a State Significant Development Application lodged in May 2025.
It clears the way for construction of the nine-storey boutique residential project in a leafy enclave on Sydney’s Upper North Shore.
Designed by DKO Architecture, with interiors by Woods Bagot, The Prescott will comprise 93 two-, three-, and four-bedroom residences.
These include substantial family-scale homes and a penthouse offering, all finished to a premium standard.
Residents will have access to an extensive suite of amenities, including a residential lounge and concierge, a dedicated business centre and co-working space, a private dining room and kitchen, a wine cellar, a library, and screening and music rooms.
Wellness facilities include a pool, gym, yoga space, steam room, infrared sauna and cold plunge pool, all set within landscaped areas designed for relaxation.
The project is positioned on the exclusive eastern side of Lindfield, an eight-minute walk from Lindfield Station.
It is also within easy reach of local cafés, schools and parks.
As a transport-oriented development, it is well placed to take advantage of the area’s rail connectivity.
The Prescott also includes an affordable housing component reserved for essential workers, which will form part of the same architectural and interior design vision as the private residences.
The approval is a significant milestone for People Purpose Time, which was founded by Vy Hua and Anh Duong.
Hua says the project began as a personal ambition to establish a long-term base in the area, starting with the purchase of a family home in Lindfield.
Conversations with neighbours later led to the amalgamation of the properties at 24, 26 and 28 Middle Harbour Road, creating the site for The Prescott.
Hua says design is central to the company’s philosophy, and that the amenities have been conceived with the service and finish associated with luxury hotels in mind.
“Our vision is to introduce a more considered expression of luxury apartment living to the Upper North Shore, with resident amenities designed as beautiful extensions of the home.”
He says the development is intended for people who value the space, permanence and sense of belonging of a family house, alongside the security and convenience of apartment living.
The company also plans to live in and retain ownership at The Prescott once it is complete, which Hua says aligns the interests of developer, resident and long-term owner.
“Together, these elements will create an enduring residential experience and establish a new benchmark for apartment living in the area,” said Hua.
The Prescott is the first project to be realised from People Purpose Time’s pipeline of landholdings across Sydney.
The company also owns development sites in Killara, Canterbury and Hurlstone Park, which will be developed progressively.
Each project will be shaped by its location, community and intended residents, and underpinned by a commitment to design quality, financial discipline, accountability and community value.
With approval secured, People Purpose Time can now move ahead with delivery of The Prescott, which the company expects will set the standard for the projects that follow.
