Toplace, a privately-owned developer, has launched the Phoenix and Hydra buildings, two buildings comprising a total of 428 apartments set to bring the elements of city living to Castle Hill in Sydney’s north-west.
Prominently located at 51 Old Castle Hill Road in Castle Hill, Phoenix and Hydra represent Stage One of Toplace’s master-planned community Skyview.
Skyview will comprise a total of 923 apartments over five separate buildings ranging in height from 18 to 24 storeys and represents Toplace’s largest project to date.
“Our vision is to deliver premium apartment living to Castle Hill and set a new benchmark. We are excited to bring city style living to the Hills so residents can enjoy a low-maintenance lifestyle with retail, transport and recreation facilities right on their doorstep without compromising on quality or living space. The needs of first home buyers paired with housing affordability drove pricing for this project to cater to the demands of our current market,” said Jean Nassif, Managing Director of Toplace.
Skyview’s name was derived from the sweeping views the development will offer of the surrounding Hills area and out to the Sydney CBD and Blue Mountains, while each building has been named after a star constellation.
Designed by high-profile architects Krikis Tayler, Skyview will seamlessly blend apartment living with a range of exclusive resident facilities set within a huge 8,000 square metre lush landscaped area. Facilities have been carefully selected for multi-generational appeal and include a community centre, rooftop entertainment area, children’s playground, outdoor fitness equipment, BBQ facilities and a swimming pool.
“The Skyview towers are set in a landscaped park like setting, which perpetuates the lush arcadian environment for which The Hills Shire is known. The apartments are designed with efficient flexible floor plans which maximise natural light and views,” said Founding Principal of Krikis Tayler Architects, Nick Krikis.
Phoenix offers a total of 201 apartments over 22 levels while Hydra has 227 apartments over 24 levels.
Construction of Phoenix and Hydra is set to commence in 2018 with expected completion in 2022.
