SALTO Systems Australia

SALTO Systems are world leaders in wire free, wireless, cloud and mobile access control solutions. The smart access control platform provides you with total control over who is able to access what, where and when at all times. Every day in over 90 countries, an estimated 20 million people use SALTO electronic locking products across every type of building and industry. From airports, health organisations, government buildings and educational facilities, to multi-residential developments, stadiums and hotels, you will be guaranteed to find a SALTO site.

Incredibly simple to install and manage, SALTO products are a cost-effective alternative to mechanical keys or a complement to fully hardwired electronic access control systems. Whether or not the installation is required within a new building, or a retrofit project, products can even be installed in doors with existing locking hardware, with no need for any additional modifications and wiring. With an unrivalled range of aesthetically designed electronic locks, cylinders and readers – which even includes padlocks, lockers and specialty items like server cabinet locks – SALTO has a solution for any type of door or access point.

SALTO features five core technologies, which offer future-proof access control to property managers. These are:

SALTO Virtual Network (SVN)
This technology is based on a unique Data-on-Card technology, which creates a virtual network. Credentials becoming a data carrier while different users move in and out and around the building. When a user scans through on a stand-alone lock, the lock reads, stores and writes information on the user’s card – as opposed to running wires to every single door in the building. This then means that users are carrying with them the information which is being distributed throughout the facility almost in real-time.
SVN is a cost-effective solution that allows users to upgrade doors that are still using old mechanical keys. Battery-powered locks with no physical wiring make for fast, low-cost installations. SVN can be installed on a few doors, and then be extended as needed, as well as being upgradable.

SALTO BLUEnet
When ‘almost real time’ isn’t quite enough, SALTO BLUEnet locks are always online and communicate directly to the central system via Bluetooth. Further, the BLUEnet system is flexible and can be installed through a building or on certain access points, which then can expand the existing SVN system. BLUEnet also means a user’s mobile phone can become their credential, so the phone becomes the key to open any connected door.

SVN-Flex
SVN is taken one step further, as SVN-Flex allows any stand-alone electronic lock connected via BLUEnet to not only read, but also update access information on user credentials.

JustIN Mobile
Most people carry a mobile phone, so having your access card on your mobile phone is only logical.

SALTO Keys as a Service (KS)
This cloud-based access control solution allows the flexibility of easy installation and maintenance. Administrators are able to stay in control of the system from anywhere by using the KS app or through a web browser. Through this solution, they can send a mobile key to anyone with a smartphone and open anything remotely. Property and facility managers also don’t need to worry about maintenance as the latest features will always be installed.

SALTO’s solutions can also be integrated with other security platforms, along with property management and booking systems. As a result, properties can extend and complement what they have in place by making it even better.

It’s all about the customer and, despite the fact that no two customer’s needs and wants are the same, SALTO is always eager to understand your requirements and present a system that not only meets your wants and needs, but exceeds them.
