Woodlea unveils premium ‘The Woodlands’ precinct in major expansion

Woodlea unveils premium 'The Woodlands' precinct in major expansion

Victoria’s acclaimed masterplanned community, Woodlea, has launched its most exclusive offering to date — The Woodlands — a nature-rich precinct set to redefine premium living in Melbourne’s west.

The announcement coincides with Woodlea’s 10th anniversary, marking a decade of transformative development in the region.

Spanning 12 hectares of protected River Red Gum woodlands and six hectares of wetlands, The Woodlands integrates outdoor living with curated amenities.

Residents will enjoy sheltered trails, picnic areas, and fitness stations alongside proximity to active recreation hubs, including soccer fields, a skate park, all-abilities playground, and dedicated dog park.

Positioned within walking distance of the newly opened Yarrabing Secondary School and Dharra Specialist School, the precinct will also benefit from upcoming infrastructure, including an indoor sports centre, community facility, primary school, and Major Town Centre.

This follows the success of Woodlea Town Centre, a $45 million retail and dining hub anchored by Coles, which opened in 2021.

The inaugural release, available next month, features just 13 land lots ranging from 294 square metres to 656 square metres, including statement parcels with 20-metre frontages.

Buyers can select north or south-facing lots within landscaped streetscapes, moments from the whimsical Hazelwood Park — a sculptural playspace inspired by local ecology, featuring bird nests, dragonfly motifs, and native Billy Button flowers.

Woodlea Project Director Matthew Dean emphasised the precinct’s significance, stating: This precinct sets a new benchmark for community living in Melbourne’s West, and we’re proud to bring this exclusive first release to market.

“We can’t wait to see families create their future in a place that truly has it all.”

The launch reinforces Woodlea’s reputation as a growth leader, with the estate’s population projected to reach 16,000 residents by late 2025.
