Builder-developer Vortex Property Group has completed its latest boutique residential development, Duncan House, in Sydney’s south, a suburb undergoing urban renewal.
Duncan House is a seven-storey development, featuring 43 one, two, and three-bedroom apartments. With 28 residences already snapped up and only 15 remaining, the project has proven particularly popular with first home buyers drawn to its intimate alternative to the larger-scale high-rises currently reshaping the area.
Vortex Property Group Managing Director Nick Grujoski said the project demonstrates the appetite for quality in transforming communities.
“Duncan House demonstrates that boutique developments can deliver outstanding outcomes for buyers while contributing meaningfully to the fabric of a neighbourhood,” the CEO said.
“We’ve seen strong demand from first home buyers who recognise both the lifestyle and investment potential of Arncliffe as it continues to evolve and bring new major amenity to the area.”
Designed by Place Studio, the building offers elevated views of the central business district and Sydney Airport.
Its completion coincides with a major government-led push in the area; New South Wales Premier Chris Minns confirmed over 800 new homes at the nearby Arncliffe Central, with a heavy focus on affordable housing.
Michael Klevansky, CEO of sales agency LINK, noted that as neighbouring suburbs like Marrickville and Wolli Creek become less attainable, Arncliffe has transitioned from a mere transit suburb to a genuine lifestyle precinct.
“Buyers have responded to the boutique nature of the project, and the uplift in values reflects growing confidence in Arncliffe as a place to live and invest,” Klevansky said.
“Growth in neighbouring suburbs such as Wolli Creek, Marrickville and Mascot is pushing buyers into Arncliffe as the next affordability option.”
Against this backdrop of large-scale development and government-led renewal, Duncan House represents a more considered, boutique offering that appeals to buyers seeking both lifestyle, privacy and long-term value.
The success of Duncan House also marks continued momentum for Vortex, which is already looking toward its next venture, having secured a new site in nearby Marrickville.
