VMCH is set to mark a significant achievement in the development of its premium retirement living precinct, St. Clare, located in Kew, Melbourne.
The for-purpose organisation will host a Topping Out Ceremony on Thursday, December 5, from 2-4 pm at 6 Studley Park Road, Kew, to celebrate the completion of the frame for all four residential buildings.
The $250 million project, which broke ground in October 2023, aims to set a new standard for over-55 living with its 103 premium apartments.
St. Clare boasts innovative architecture, expansive green spaces, and stunning views, designed to cater to the evolving needs of retirees.
It is situated on a 1.4-hectare site in the prestigious Studley Park area, surrounded by parkland and picturesque heritage architecture.
The precinct will feature 50 per cent open space, creating an oasis for residents to enjoy and connect with loved ones.
The Topping Out Ceremony will bring together approximately 80 guests, including:
- Representatives from Hacer Group, the builder partner
- Architects from Woods Bagot
- The St. Clare project team
- Members of the VMCH Board and Executive
- A representative from Boroondara Council
- Federal Member for Kew, Ms Jess Wilson
This event not only marks a construction milestone but also acknowledges the hard work of all those involved in bringing this world-class retirement living precinct to life.
The development has already broken records for retirement off-plan sales, with over 65 per cent of apartments reserved a year before completion, with residences ranging in price from $1.3 million to $4.7 million, reflecting the high-end nature of the project.
