AUSTRALIA — Australian developer — Time & Place — has received planning approval for its first project in Sydney’s Northern Beaches at 35-43 Belgrave Street in Manly.
The five-storey, $100 million development will showcase a contemporary design that echoes the resort-style lifestyle associated with the beachside locale in the heart of the Manly village and will also introduce a revitalised ground floor retail offering.
This Sydney project will feature 21 premium two and three-bedroom residences, in addition to three penthouses offering expansive terraces and views of both the harbour and the ocean.
Designed by SJB Architects, the development’s vision seeks to create a pared-back and timeless aesthetic that will instantly blend with the surrounding village milieu.
With a soft and inviting interior palette, the project promises to embody a sense of comfortable luxury and modern utility.
The bathrooms will be will be lined with stone and textured tiles which will also be complemented by subtle timber framing and varied tile formats — creating a sophisticated and practical yet welcoming environment.
Time & Place Director Evan Papadopoulos said: “Through a highly collaborative design process with Northern Beaches Council, we have developed a building that we believe is tailored to optimise all the best things Manly has to offer. We’re particularly proud of the penthouses which will introduce generous outdoor spaces that offer unparalleled views.”
Papadopoulos stated that future residents will appreciate the development’s close proximity to the beach and ferry.
“They likely have grown up in Manly or lived here for many years and appreciate the unique lifestyle that Manly offers — where you can wake up at 6:30 am, be surfing by 7, then be back home, showered and in the city by 8:30 am,” said Papadopoulos.
Time & Place is currently in active conversations with a local favourite retailer to occupy the ground-floor retail space.
This collaboration promises to bring exceptional amenities to both the residents and the wider community, playing a key role in the ongoing evolution of Manly’s hospitality industry.
This development is set to launch to the market later this year.
