PACT Construction has just been awarded a Design and Construction contract for the Forbes Residences in Applecross, Perth. The $52 million mixed-use project for Mustera Property Group will bring ultra-luxury apartment living to the Kintail Quarter precinct.
Designed in collaboration with international award-winning Singaporean architecture firm, WOHA and Perth-based MJA Studio, the concept of a ‘vertical village’ is at the core of the design.
The 13-storey development comprises 34 three-and-four-bedroom high-end apartments, an infinity pool, gym, function room, 20 short stay apartments, podium level commercial tenancies including community gardens, co-working spaces and a civic hall.
The development will also include a limited number of corporate-stay accommodation units.
“This is a unique project and a fantastic addition to our portfolio,” said Jason Thomson, PACT’s General Manager.
“It’s also recognition of our ability to safely deliver the highest quality product for our client.”
“We are pleased to have a company with local expertise and a history of successful delivery on board to bring the project to life,” said Mustera Executive Director, Nick Zborowski.
Social and environmental principles are intrinsic to Forbes Residences with the design allowing fresh air and light to weave throughout every level. The abundance of green space will help residents feel grounded regardless of which level they reside on.
“The commitment to design excellence, embracing the project’s location, landscape and the level of finish on such a large scale is an exciting opportunity to be involved in,” continued Mr Thomson. “Being part of such a bespoke project is a great privilege for PACT.”
Construction of Forbes Residences is anticipated to commence in August 2021.
