Deloitte Australia has agreed to take a 10-year lease spanning 32,000 square metres in AMP Capital’s Quay Quarter Tower at Circular Quay, Sydney.
Quay Quarter Tower is located at 50 Bridge Street and is owned by investors in the AMP Capital Diversified Property Fund, AMP Capital Wholesale Office Fund and Rest – who will acquire a one-third interest in the tower upon completion.
The 200-metre-high, 50 storey, Quay Quarter Tower was designed by Danish architects, 3XN and is being built by leading construction company, Multiplex.
Uniquely designed to be a tower that doesn’t feel like a high-rise, Quay Quarter Tower comprises five unique shifting glass volumes stacked upon each other separated by sky terraces and atrium space, forming a vertical village that breathes life and forms a distinct addition to the local skyline.
Quay Quarter Tower was also designed to enhance views of the Sydney Harbour and Opera House and to fully capture daylight into the building’s office floors.
The tower’s lobby interiors were designed by Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio and the Market Hall was designed by AvroKo of New York.
Lastly, the tower will feature the latest in commercial office technology and is targeting 6-Star Green Star and 5.5 Star NABERS energy ratings.
Deloitte Chief Operating Officer Andrew Griffiths said investing in a workplace is a critical decision for any business and Quay Quarter Tower ticks all the boxes for them.
“We’re proud to choose a Sydney landmark that gives us the flexibility to meet the changing needs of our clients through an adaptable workplace designed to be connected and innovative,” Mr Griffiths said.
Construction of Quay Quarter Tower expected to be finalised in early 2022.
