Jim Hazel and Charlotte Vidor have been inducted into the Australian Property Hall of Fame in recognition of their pioneering leadership and remarkable achievements in the industry.

Senior industry leaders paid tribute to the outstanding contributions made by both recipients.
“Both Jim and Charlotte have played tremendously influential roles in the industry.

Zorbas praised Hazel as playing “a foundational role in the success of the retirement living industry”.
He stated: “The results of his decades of commitment, bold thinking and customer focus will benefit senior Australians for generations to come.”
Hazel, the first South Australian and first from the retirement living sector to be inducted, expressed his gratitude, stating: “This is an extraordinary, and humbling, honour. Being recognised for creating wonderful communities for senior Australians is a great joy to me.”
Zorbas commended Vidor as “a pioneer of the serviced apartments industry, taking an idea from overseas and fitting it into the Australian context”.
He highlighted her as “a trailblazer for women in construction and development” who “created new classes of hospitality assets and generously supported the career growth of many young people”.
Vidor expressed her appreciation, stating: “It’s a tremendous honour to be welcomed into the Property Hall of Fame. I am sincerely thankful for this recognition and proud to be in the company of so many respected leaders in the industry.”
