The Australian Interior Design Awards, Australia’s leading awards program for design excellence, has announced its esteemed shortlisted projects for the 2018 awards.
This year will mark the 15th year of the awards program, which celebrates excellence in interior design across residential, public and commercial sectors.
Judged by some of Australia’s most highly regarded interior designers and architects, the 2018 program is the largest in the awards history, garnering more than 600 entries from Australian practices for their projects located throughout the country and beyond, to Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe and America.
The shortlist includes finalists in seven design categories including residential, residential decoration, hospitality, installation, public, retail and workplace.
Cementing its place as the interior design community’s most respected program, the awards recognise and promote projects across all sectors including retail, hospitality, workplace, public, installation and residential design.
Delivered by the Design Institute of Australia (DIA) and Architecture Media’s Artichoke magazine, the full list of final award recipients will be announced at a gala presentation to be held at Sydney’s Hyatt Regency on Friday 25 May.
