Australian developers shine at annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final

The 19th Annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final celebrated exceptional real estate achievements across the Asia-Pacific region, showcasing outstanding developers and design practices from multiple countries.

Held in Bangkok at The Athenee Hotel, the event recognised over 130 award-winning finalists and highlighted significant developments in the property sector.

Zhuhai Huafa Properties Co., Ltd. made history by being named Best Developer in Asia for the first time, representing one of five wins for Mainland Chinese companies.

The Philippines emerged as the most awarded market with 12 accolades, with Federal Land, Inc. receiving notable recognition as Best Luxury Developer in Asia.

The awards demonstrated remarkable diversity, with countries like Malaysia securing 11 wins, Indonesia celebrating eight victories, and Singapore continuing its strong performance with eight awards.

UOL Group Limited stood out by being recognised as both the Best Sustainable Developer and the Best Hospitality Developer in Asia.

Jeremy Williams, managing director for Marketplaces at PropertyGuru Group, emphasised the event’s commitment to sustainable development, noting that the awards “raise benchmarks for resilience and sustainability” and inspire innovation in the property sector.

An independent panel of judges from across Asia Pacific evaluated the submissions, ensuring a comprehensive and fair selection process.

The event was part of PropertyGuru Week, which also included the Asia Real Estate Summit and debuts of awards in multiple markets.

The grand finale not only celebrated current achievements but also highlighted the evolving landscape of real estate development across the Asia-Pacific region, with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and community-driven design.
