Samsung Australia has officially announced the upcoming release of its groundbreaking 115” Micro RGB R95 4K Samsung Vision AI Smart TV, set to become available through Samsung’s Online Store and leading retailers nationwide starting 10 December 2025, just in time for the Christmas season.
Priced at $41,999 AUD, this ultra-large TV aims to redefine premium home entertainment by delivering colour performance beyond cinema standards to Australian consumers.
The Samsung Micro RGB R95 TV utilises cutting-edge display technology featuring individually controlled red, green, and blue micro RGB LEDs, each measuring less than 100 micrometres — approximately half the size of the Mini LEDs used in Samsung’s previous premium Neo QLED models.
This innovative design allows for remarkably fine control over colour and brightness, resulting in a picture quality that exemplifies hyper-realistic imagery with exceptional colour accuracy.
The model is the first ultra-large Samsung TV to support 81-bit colour processing (27 bits per RGB channel) and has earned certification from VDE for Micro RGB Precision Colour, confirming its outstanding standard of colour fidelity.
Simon Howe, Director – Audio Visual at Samsung Australia, emphasised the technical breakthrough and experiential elevation this TV offers: “In making Micro RGB display technology a reality for Australian consumers via the new Micro RGB R95 TV, Samsung is offering an ultra-large home cinema experience that goes beyond expectations by unlocking new levels of colour accuracy, contrast and immersive content experiences,” he said.
“Supported by Vision AI and Samsung’s Glare-Free technology, Micro RGB reinforces our commitment to provide a screen for virtually every experience, tailored to suit various needs.”
Beyond its advanced Micro RGB lighting, the R95 incorporates several standout features designed to enhance user experience.
Its Micro RGB AI Engine uses artificial intelligence to optimise the picture and sound in real time, dynamically enhancing colour output and supporting Samsung’s Vision AI capabilities alongside RGB colour LED local dimming to create visually vivid and immersive content.
The certified Glare-Free technology minimises reflection and glare, enabling clear, comfortable viewing across different indoor lighting environments.
In addition, the TV sports a sleek Metal SuperSlim design, measuring just 35.7mm from top to bottom and weighing 90.5 kilograms.
This makes it the thinnest and lightest 115” plus RGB TV currently available in Australia, allowing it to blend seamlessly into premium home décor.
The Samsung Art Store transforms the screen into a 115” gallery, showcasing classic artworks in Pantone Validated colours with ultra-precise Micro RGB accuracy, refreshing users with about 30 new pieces each month, along with ambient content options.
Security and longevity are also priorities, with Samsung Knox providing robust security and a seven-year Tizen OS upgrade program ensuring ongoing software improvements and protection.
The Micro RGB R95 integrates Samsung Vision AI for personalised viewing and access to endless free content through Samsung TV Plus, console-free gaming via Samsung Gaming Hub, and smart home control compatibility using SmartThings.
Samsung Australia’s new 115” Micro RGB R95 TV is positioned as an ultra-premium tech flagship that combines awe-inspiring colour technology and intelligent features into a sleek, large-format TV available for Australians starting 10 December 2025.
