Construction has commenced on the Victoria Tower Adelaide development, situated on the former site of the popular La Boheme nightspot at 32-38 Grote Street.
Victoria Tower Adelaide is an Auta Group development and is being built by SYNERGY CONSTRUCT with completion scheduled for June 2025.
At 37 storeys, Victoria Tower Adelaide will be one of Adelaide’s tallest buildings and will create employment for several hundred construction workers. The $200m development offers residents and businesses one of the most central locations in the Adelaide CBD with most major amenities and attractions such as the tram line, Rundle Mall, Victoria Square, Chinatown, the Central Market, and universities only a short walk away.
Victoria Tower Adelaide will comprise residential and commercial space consisting of approximately 285 residential units as well as eight levels of commercial space. Apartments include Studio, one, two and three-bedroom configurations as well as six penthouses across the top two levels, two of which are more than 600 square metres in size.
Victoria Tower Adelaide offers uninterrupted views of the city, especially Victoria Square, but also east to the Hills and west to the ocean. The development offers premium finishes and fine detail throughout with some of the apartments being accessible to first-time homebuyer grant applicants in South Australia. Stamp duty relief for eligible first home buyers may also be available.
Approximately 60 per cent of Victoria Tower Adelaide’s apartments have already been sold and its entire available commercial space was taken up by local businesses by late last year. A new prime commercial space has recently been made available and is a generous 260sqm in size.
The development includes a large (fully equipped) gym, meeting rooms and multi-function communal area (including outdoor barbecue area) for residents whilst the ground floor will host a café and florist.
James Guo of Auta Group said that quality developments like Victoria Tower Adelaide help cement Adelaide’s reputation as one of the most attractive property markets in the country and that no expense was spared in the development’s design and finishes.
