WA Major Projects Conference is back in its 13th year and will take place on 28 and 29 November at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre. Attracting over 250 attendees from across Australia, the event continues to be the premier infrastructure event in the State providing a platform to discuss the progress, challenges and share best practice solutions for WA’s infrastructure sector.
With a budget surplus of $5.7 billion, the WA economy continues to lead the nation underpinned by strong economic growth and elevated commodity prices. The latest state budget includes a record $33.9 billion investment towards infrastructure across, rail, roads, port, schools, hospitals and projects in other key sectors. The State Government is heavily investing in job-creating economic infrastructure, with $6 billion allocated for METRONET Projects, $11.7 billion for roads, $1.3 billion towards health infrastructure and a $592 million investment towards building and upgrading schools. Against this backdrop, the 12th Annual WA Major Projects Conference will provide a high-level forum for attendees to discuss and debate major infrastructure projects in the pipeline for the State.
The 2-day event will offer highly valuable networking opportunities where construction managers, project directors, consultants and investors can learn about what projects are in the pipeline across WA and capitalise on the business opportunities being created.
