Residential and commercial developer, Greaton Development has reached a major milestone this week, following the official ‘topping out’ of the Oxford Central project.
Located in north-west Sydney, Oxford Central’s twin 17-storey towers are set to feature 252 premium apartments, as well as 292 car spaces and 625 square metres of ground-level retail.
The ‘topping out’ milestone marks the structural completion of the highest floor of the development by builder, Ceerose.
According to Greaton Managing Director, Nicho Teng the Oxford Central project marks the first time the people of Sydney will be able to see the quality they can deliver.
“Using high-quality design and sustainable construction, our goal is to create exceptional places, and it’s our belief that Oxford Central achieves this objective,” he said.
Mr Teng also acknowledged the efforts of Ceerose in bringing Oxford Central to life.
The Ceerose team was able to reach the top of Oxford Central within an 11-month timeframe.
To date, over 1,700 workers have been employed during the construction phase of the project – many of whom have been employed from local companies.
More than 15,000 cubic metres of concrete and 1,500 tonnes of steel have also been used in erecting the frame of Oxford Central’s two towers.
Designed by renowned architectural practice, Marchese Partners, Oxford Central is strategically located at the epicentre of the NSW government’s redevelopment plans for the Epping town centre.
Oxford Central is expected to be completed later in 2019.
