National property developer Traders In Purple has fast-tracked the release of its $119 million Tydal Oceana development in Woody Point, Moreton Bay, by over a year to meet unprecedented buyer interest.
The coastal-luxe project, part of the larger Tydal precinct, will deliver 71 premium two- and three-bedroom apartments with ocean, hinterland, and local views, targeting buyers from Brisbane, Pine Rivers, and Moreton Bay.
The decision follows the rapid sales success of Tydal Sands, the first stage of the development, where over 85 per cent of the 104 apartments sold ahead of schedule.
Construction is now underway for both buildings, with Tydal Oceana slated for completion in late 2027.
Perched on one of Woody Point’s highest elevations, the 6,900 sqm site holds cultural significance as the former home of the Palace Hotel, where the Bee Gees performed their first paid gig in the 1950s.
The hotel, demolished after a 2013 fire, has been transformed into a luxury residential hub blending heritage with contemporary design.
“Tydal Oceana offers a rare opportunity to secure a new apartment in a sought-after coastal enclave,” said Traders In Purple CEO Brett Robinson.
“The Moreton Bay region has retained its laid-back charm while undergoing remarkable growth, making it a magnet for downsizers and lifestyle seekers.”
Designed by Ellivo Architects, Tydal Oceana’s undulating facade mirrors the nearby coastline, while interiors prioritise natural light and cross-ventilation.
Apartments range from 117 square metres to 201 square metres, featuring entertainer balconies, and expansive terraces up to 74 square metres on ground-floor units.
Residents will have access to resort-style amenities, including a subtropical pool, outdoor dining and BBQ areas, sun lounges, a car wash, and landscaped reflection zones.
The development also integrates native vegetation and herb gardens, reinforcing its connection to the coastal environment.
The project is Traders In Purple’s 14th in Moreton Bay, bolstering its reputation for delivering waterfront developments like Marin at Scarborough and Orilla.
“We’ve seen strong repeat buyer interest, reflecting confidence in our track record,” Robinson added.
“The peninsula’s 40-minute proximity to Brisbane CBD and its thriving amenities — from cafes to coastal trails — make it a lifestyle standout.”
The broader Tydal precinct, including Tydal Sands, remains on track to redefine Woody Point’s skyline by 2027.
