
Sekisui House Australia has received development approval for Dawn, Stage 5 of the Melrose Park master plan, marking a major milestone in this urban renewal project.
Dawn, a joint venture between Sekisui House Australia and Hankyu Hanshin Properties, will feature six low-rise buildings with 368 apartments, ranging from one to three bedrooms, as well as penthouse units.
The development, designed by GroupGSA, will be located less than 150 meters from the future Melrose Park Town Centre, promoting walkability and access to green spaces.
Dawn incorporates various sustainability initiatives, including an energy network, rooftop gardens, and app-based energy management systems.

Construction of Dawn is set to begin in 2025, with completion anticipated in mid-2027.
The development is part of Sekisui House Australia’s larger $5 billion Melrose Park project, which aims to create 5,500 homes, a commercial and retail town centre, and extensive parklands.
Sekisui House Australia has received a 4 Gold Star iCIRT rating for Dawn, assuring customers of the project’s integrity, capability, and financial stability.
The development’s location offers convenient transport connections, including future access to Stage 2 of the Parramatta Light Rail.
