Henri House construction begins after record sales

Construction is officially underway at Henri House, a $110 million boutique residential project by leading property developer Abadeen, following the successful demolition of the existing building and a record-breaking sales campaign that has set a new benchmark for Sydney’s luxury property market.

Located in the heart of Darlinghurst, one of Sydney’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan suburbs, Henri House brings together timeless architectural elegance and contemporary design.

The development comprises just 13 north-facing designer apartments, including an exclusive whole-floor penthouse, each offering panoramic views over Sydney’s harbour and city skyline.

Designed by renowned architectural practice Woods Bagot, with modernist interiors by Studio McCue, Henri House stands out for its bold, monolithic architecture and commodious interiors.

The project is positioned within walking distance of Potts Point and Paddington, further enhancing its appeal to discerning buyers seeking a premium inner-city lifestyle.

Abadeen has appointed iCIRT-rated builder Credence Constructions to deliver the project, with completion slated for early 2027.

The construction team confirmed: “Works are progressing well having recently completed demolition of the existing building.

“We’re now gearing up to excavate the multi-level basement.”

The start of construction follows a highly successful sales campaign led by SRM Residential. The campaign achieved standout results, including a $15 million transaction that combined two three-bedroom apartments into a full-floor residence.

Joe Tack, CEO of Abadeen, said, “Henri House represents the perfect synergy of premium location, refined design, and the vibrant lifestyle of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.”

He added: “We’re thrilled to be partnering once again with trusted iCIRT-rated builder Credence Constructions, who have proven to be an outstanding team on our ENSO project in Neutral Bay, which will be unveiled next month as the scaffold comes down.

“The early success of Henri House reflects both the strength of the product and the growing demand for refined inner-city living.”

Set amid leafy streets, heritage terraces, and a thriving dining and bar scene, Henri House introduces understated elegance to one of Sydney’s most sought-after neighbourhoods.

The project is also positioned near key medical hubs, including St Vincent’s Hospital and the Victor Chang Research Institute.

With construction now underway, Henri House is poised to become one of Sydney’s most desirable boutique addresses.
