She Wear

Australia’s first and only women’s safety footwear company, she wear, has changed the safety footwear industry with their stylish and colourful designs made specifically for hard-working women in specialist and trade industries.

Stacey Head, a professional home renovator, launched she wear in 2013 after being continually frustrated and let down by the lack of safety footwear available to women that were both comfortable and safe.

“As a woman working in specialised fields and trades that require safety footwear, I was continually disappointed with the lack of options available to women,” Ms Head said.

“Prior to establishing she wear, many women were often forced to rely on men’s or “unisex” safety footwear.

“Thanks to she wear, women who work in any kind of specialist industry including the construction, agriculture, hospitality, mining, meatworks, manufacturing and trade industries, can now wear comfortable, stylish and compliant footwear that is designed especially for women to fit women.”

Ms Head said she wear now sells safety workwear and PPE specifically designed for women following customer demand and feedback.

“It’s not just the lack of safety footwear available to women working in specialised fields and industries, it’s also difficult for women to find workwear and PPE such as hi-vis shirts, work pants, vests or gloves,” she said.

“she wear is the only Australian company designing safety footwear in a range of stylish and colourful designs as well as workwear and PPE specifically for hard-working women in specialist and trade industries.

“We are 100% Australian owned and operated and our entire range of safety footwear has been tested to comply with the tough Australian and New Zealand standards and are independently certified by the BSI Group, a leading third-party certification company.”
