Design leader, Cemintel, has launched its ‘Street Style Collection’, bringing together new and classic fibre cement cladding and weatherboard products to create the next generation of distinctly Australian homes.
“The Australian design aesthetic balances an innate sense of style and quality with an essential dose of practicality to thrive in our unique landscape,” says Paul Manks, General Manager of CSR Cemintel.
“Our new ‘Street Style Collection’ offers the materials required for architects, designers and builders to interpret and help create a true personal statement for homeowners that will stand the test of time in terms of both style and craftsmanship. At the same time it allows design to effortlessly connecting with the surrounding environment, colours and textures,” continues Mr Manks.
Alongside Australian favourites, Barestone, Territory and Scarborough, designers, architects, builders and homeowners can now add Balmoral and Edge to their design palette. This new, extended offer provides more residential product options and a reliable and trustworthy specification alternative.
“From Balmoral’s easy blending of Australia’s coastal culture with our colonial roots, to the versatile boldness of the new Edge range, the ‘Street Style Collection’ is set to make its mark throughout the suburbs and towns of Australia,” says Mr Manks. With Balmoral and Edge, a new world of Australian-made design choices are now available.
Balmoral weatherboard
A modern take on timeless weatherboard, Balmoral has a 16mm thick profile providing sharp lines with a distinct shadow to enhance both traditional and contemporary residential designs.
“From the classic coastal look to contemporary interpretations of colonial living, the clean horizontal lines of a weatherboard home beautifully represent modern Australian architecture,” says Mr Manks.
Cemintel’s fibre cement weatherboards can be painted any colour to suit a home’s style and look. Outlasting traditional timber siding options, Cemintel’s innovative and durable boards are easy to maintain as they won’t shrink, swell or crack and they hold paint longer.
Edge Cladding
A vertical cladding, Edge has sharp ‘V’ grooves, which complement both classic and modern home designs. Perfect for pairing with other materials to form a composite look, or as a vertical alternative to traditional weatherboard designs, Edge can be used internally, as well as externally.
Edge Cladding comes in four profiles similar to the width of the pinstripe on a classic tailored suit – V75 Bond, V150 Oxford, V300 York and V400 Crown and named after landmark fashion streets around the world which can also be found in every state in Australia.
“We’ve chosen to pay homage to the streets that celebrate the essentials of great design through personalisation, quality materials and timeless style,” says Mr Manks.
With a choice of grooves at 75mm, 150mm, 300mm or 400mm, Edge Cladding provides a wide range of design options. For renders featuring Cemintel’s Edge Cladding click here.
“The design flexibility and inherent aesthetic qualities of Cemintel’s fibre cement cladding and weatherboards are the ideal design choice for discerning homeowners seeking to confidently establish their own signature ‘street style’,” concludes Mr Manks.
